I went to Toronto for three days to see my dad, just got back Friday night. I am so happy I went...Dad's in Canada travelling with a group of students from BCCSC (the college he works at in China), and I got to tag along. I haven't seen him since the wedding in August...I've really missed him.

Mike and I went skiing today since school was cancelled. First time this winter! We went to Rockwood Park along the NB Trail. The drifts were huge in some spots and I fell (of course!) I was starting to think that skiing was a no-go this winter...but three blizzards in a week turned things around. Wheee!

Cathy gave me an origami calendar for Christmas and I've been having fun creating some interesting stuff. I get to make one every day. My favourite so far is a little origami boat. Mike's tried a couple, but he has big hands and you have to make some pretty tiny folds, so he's having a wee bit of trouble. Cathy! You'll be happy to know that sometime in July I get to make a ladybug!

Christmas vacation has disappeared fast! Mike's back to UNB and I'm back at work tomorrow. I've hardly been home over the last two weeks. New Year's was fun; Mike & I were in Fredericton hanging out with Cathy. :)
