Hi everybody :)

I'm back to my hectic schedule at the school. Crazy busy as always! I've uploaded all the pictures from our trip at our Flickr site and I hope to have time tonight to write about everything that happened.

Here are a few little things to keep you going :) :

Bryant had his cell phone pinched,

they sold "high grade puke" in one of our hotel rooms,

& the places we visited were beautiful, but so crowded!

Yesterday was the BCCSC School Track Meet. Here's the photo set :)



I'll never get over the effort put into the opening ceremonies here at the school. For the track meet, hours & hours were spent practicing the marches, chants, dances, formations, etc for the ceremony...with a little bit of track & field event practice thrown in, lol!

It was Saturday and we all had to be at the meet so that we could have the seven days off for the National Holiday. It was fun though...I took some cool pictures, got to chat with many students and hang out with the teachers. And I got to laugh at the drama of it all. Some students collapsed from the effort, some cried when they failed to advance, and the few who won were pretty good sports...they didn't gloat too much, lol

Later, a bunch of us went in to shop at Xidan, cheap (but not bad quality) clothing & jewelry. I'm still not much of a shopper, so I spent the time at the drugstores buying packages of funny Chinese prophylactics...those pictures are here, lol!

Then we went back to Tongzien for chicken hot pot...good for health & yummy veggies :)

I need to go finish my packing...we have to go soon. I'll post pics when we return next weekend :)
