I'm Injured! Arrggghhhh!
and today started off so well too! yeah right...
My little habit these days is to wake up at 3:30 am...yes, A.M. grrr! Couldn't sleep any longer. So I sat for a couple of hours reading the news on the internet before getting myself showered and ready for work. I went in to the office at 7, and the plan was to work until 9:30 am...then I took a monstrous chunk out of my finger as I was moving furniture! It's about the size of my pinky fingernail and deep. Ow! Ow! Ow! This has got to be my most serious injury in China yet...didn't need a visit to the hospital though, but man, I bled all over the place!
After all that carnage, Dad & I headed to the new IKEA store to shop for the morning. It's the biggest store in Asia. I picked up items for the office & a comfy chair for the apartment. When we were living in 203, we had two big chairs instead of a couch...so I had moved one into our bedroom for when I wanted to read in the sunshine at lunch. Now, in 303...no chair, just couch :) IKEA saves the day! :>

Home by lunchtime, I was too happy to have my chair, so instead of eating lunch I assembled the darn thing. After my fabulously handy experience (with no pieces left over! wheee!), I grabbed an apple and blah! back to the office.

I honestly lost track of time after that. Six & a half hours of moving furniture and organizing office supplies later, I realized it was 8:30pm and LI (one of our office cleaning ladies) would be coming soon to give me the boot, lol
Next week, I start teaching the Summer Camp students from Korea :) I hope I won't be too busy when Mike comes back in two weeks...I'd like to meet him at the airport :)
